These portable CD 'capacitor discharge' stud welding units are made in Europe to very high standards and feature microprocessor control for very short charging times and quick welding of CD fasteners and earth tags

The clear LED display enables very easy operation and the continuously adjustable DC voltage setting provides easy control.

These units can be used with either a 'contact' or 'gap' type studwelding gun. The popular PKM-1B contact gun is designed for maximum productivity and easy setup, for welding of aluminium CD fasteners the PHM-1A gap gun is recommended which has adjustable lift function. Both guns have a wide range of optional accessories including template tubes, extension kit and an offset chuck adaptor for welding in close proximity to return flanges and corners.
